Frequently asked questions
What ByToolHub does with your data, what it costs, and where it works.
Yes. Every tool is free, with no account to create, no usage limit and no watermark on anything you produce. The site is paid for by advertising rather than by charging you.
No. Text you paste, files you drop and passwords you generate are processed by your own browser and never sent anywhere. The one exception is the Open Graph checker, which has to fetch the address you give it from our server, because a browser is not allowed to read another site's HTML — that tool says so on its own page. Separately, the ads on the site are served by a third party that sets cookies, which is covered in the cookie policy.
Once a tool page has finished loading it keeps working with no connection, because the work is done by your device rather than by a server. The Open Graph checker is the exception, since it has to reach the site you are asking about.
Yes. Every tool is built and checked at phone width as well as on a desktop, so generating a QR code or compressing a photo works the same on the device the photo is already on.
Yes, and requests are the main thing that decides which ones. If something you need is missing, or a tool here is close but not quite right, send it through the contact form.
